An asset status indicates its current place in the asset lifecycle. Ark uses these statuses in the register and reports.
Statuses in the register
The asset register supports status filtering. A status is distinct from an asset's condition, which has its own field and report filter.
- Planning — a planned asset record.
- Ordered — an asset ordered but not yet in stock.
- In Stock — held in inventory.
- In Use — currently in service.
- Deployed — placed into use at a destination.
- Under Maintenance — undergoing service.
- Retired — removed from regular use.
- Lost or Stolen — an asset reported missing.
- Disposed — removed through disposal.
