Create and browse
Search departments or filter by parent department. Select a row to open and edit its details.
Departments can be selected on an asset detail page and on a member record.

Fill in the details
Choose a parent only when this department sits below another one.

Select Create Department
The department appears in the list and department selectors.
Field reference
| Field | Required | Details |

| Name | Required | The department name shown in lists and selectors. |
| Code | Required | The department's short identifier. |
| Description | Optional | Additional context about the department. |
| Parent Department | Optional | Select an existing department to place this one beneath it. |
| Head | Optional | Select a company member to lead the department. |
List columns
| List column | Shows |
|---|---|
| Name | Department name; select the row for details. |
| Code | Department code. |
| Parent | Parent department, when set. |
| Head | Member selected as department head. |
| Members | Number of members in the department. |
| Created At | Date and time the record was created. |
